Hints, Tricks, and Glitches

Here is a list of hints, tips, and glitches that were found in the game.

Infinite Shell Lock
Go to one player mode. Then go to training mode. Select Mario. Then, go to a stage with a level surface. Walk up to the computer player, and drop all of the green shells you can select next to him/her. Do Mario's down-B move over the computer and the shells and hold the move down. Everything on screen should freeze except for the computers damage, which should go up until 999%. This move also works with Samus' up-B move, but you have to lure a computer onto a platform and jump up from below them.

Zero Suit Samus
To see Samus out of her suit (you can hardly tell it is her.. It's just a purple, polygon model of a women) shock her somehow (with a ray-gun, Pichachu's electricity moves, or anything else of that sort) and press the pause button when she turns purple. It's like how all of the other characters have skeletons... she just appears out of her suit.

Exploding Containers
Once you have unlocked the item select menu, go there and put everything off except for the Maximum Tomato. Then make the appearance High. Go to Hyrule, and every crate, barrel, and pill you get will explode when thrown.

Big Fan
To make the fan larger then normal, go to Hyrule Then when a barrel or crate appears, hit it rapidly with the fan. If it explodes, then the fan will become larger than normal. If you hit an enemy or anything else with it, it will go back to normal size. It may take a while to find an item carrier that explodes, so just keep trying until you succeed.

Life Steal
If you have 0 lives left in a team battle, and your teammate has at least 2, you can press Start to take one from that teammate.
