Samus Strategies

Samus

Overall:8

Offense: 8 Defense:5 Projectile:9 Final Smash: 7

Throwing:7 Recovery:8 Aerial:9 Speed:6

While Zero Suit Samus is light and fast, Samus is just the opposite. She has one of the best projectiles in the game, and her physical attacks and combos make her a force to be reckoned with.

  • Weight Class- Heavy Weight
  • Attack Tier- BL Low and Medium
  • Sliding Ability-Low

Special Moves

Charge Shot

Samus's basic move. Press the special to charge it up. After it's charged, you can fire it for a very high KO rating. You can cancel it at any time by sheilding, or rolling. When you do this, the charge will still retain. While charging it press special at any time to fire it. It can't charge in the air.

Missile

Samus has two kinds of missiles. If you do this attack like you would a smash attack, a green Super Missile will fire. The Super Missile goes in a straight line. If you attack like a strong attack, it does a homing missile that goes much slower, but hones in on an opponent for a short distance.

Screw Attack

Samus quickly jumps up and perform her signature screw attack. This attack works very well as a recovery move, as it actually gets more diatance than most people presume. Enemies caught up in the attack will be trapped in it, taking damage until Samus stoppes.

Bomb

Samus' diamond in the rough. While it may seem useless, it has very many strategic moves. Look down for more on that. Basically, Samus rolls up in a ball, and lays a bomb. It can also be performed in the air.

Final Smash: Zero Lazer

Type 2 Rating:7

One of the best in the game. Samus unleashes a gigantic and powerful blast from her arm cannon. Anyone touching it will get heavy damage. At the end it sends opponents flying.

Basic Strategies

Focus on her projectiles. Fire a Super Missile and then fire a fully charged Charge Shot. Depending on the skill level of the opponent, you may need to mix this up, as it is a common strategy.

Make sure to be stealthy when using her charge shot, you don' want to waste it. I do a short jump and then fire since most people will jump to dodge the shot. You need to find what works for you
